My Father's Child

So, this poem is part of my poetry collection in my writer's portfolio, which I handed in as a final project last semester for Writer's Craft. I admit, it's there are some sentences and words and rhyming which still need some improvement, and I'll work on that soon. However, I am incredibly, surprisingly proud of this piece for some reason and I'd just like to post it up here.

I admit that I, like many other poets, write from experience and inspiration. And while I've never had a father like this or any of the sweet memories which I penned for the poem's 'protagonist', somewhere, deep inside, something sweet, something lovely, something wonderful persuaded me to write it. I suppose that's one of the reasons why I am proud of this poem; being able to pour in genuine emotion and feeling into something as sentimental and personal as that when I have had no life experience that should even inspire that.

I have no regrets. The poem may or may not have that genuine emotion or feeling depending on each reader. I'm no pro English teacher or seasoned writer but as the author of this poem, I can tell you one thing for sure and that is I love this piece, and everything about it. Well, that is, except the minor structure and rhyming and syllable issues. Asdfkjghfgdfg... I have got to fix them.

Buuuuut.... yeah, I'll stop ranting now, and let you judge for yourself this poem of mine.

My Father's Child
by Esther Ng

He lifts me up and swings me around
A spin that makes me laugh
Decked in ribbons and a summer dress
He says I’m the prettiest little princess in town.

First day of school and my face scrunches up
A puckered mouth with two moistened eyes
He bends down with a smile, and gives me a hug
He remained by my side, even far past goodbyes.

It is six-thirty, and the sun is setting
With us on the platform, my suitcase he’s carrying
He’s chivalrous, indeed, with a bittersweet grin
Yet he walks along my window, reluctant to release the moving train.

He always liked to say I had his brain
Sharp and nimble, perfect for studying
Every week there was a funny letter
Making me smile as I read about him and Mother.

And when my man got down on one knee
He said to me with tears of joy
“I’ll give you away, but on that day
Promise me I’ll walk you down the aisle.”

And now as I walk the flowered lane
A thought hangs thoroughly through the while
That though I am to be a dame
I’ll always be my father’s child.

***

On another note, I would just like to add that I might have been unconsciously inspired by the song "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle. The funny thing is, I was reciting my poem when I began to wonder why I felt as if I've heard something like this before. I wasn't thinking, or even remembering, let alone listening to the song when I wrote my poem(I wrote it in a computer lab at school, talk about serene settings. Bah.) but when I looked the song up... my word, what similarities they held. Hmm, I hope I don't get sued for plagiarism or copyright if my poem ever surfaces somewhere.

... I've done some thinking. And now I beg to differ my previous argument.
Perhaps I wasn't unconsciously inspired by that old song. Perhaps my own contrasting memories inspired me to write what I would have wanted, and craved for in a father. Perhaps I know I would never get the lovely, sentimental, sweet father that every girl deserves(my dad is ASIAN. Literally. In literal, literal sense. Gotta accept that XD )... but maybe, just maybe, I'll get to see that one day for my own child. And she would have the happiness of having such a father, and the joy of experiencing those beautiful memories that would last her a lifetime.

Dear me, suddenly I've gotten sentimental and soft. THIS WON'T DO.
My next post shall be about something harsh. Like, sharks or something. Yup, sharks are tough, rough, and hardcore. Sheesh, what on earth came over me? I've turned from a rock to a... a... marshmallow!

Darn.

Merry Christmas

It's the early hours of everyone's favorite holiday season, and the day has already begin and ended so beautifully. Thank you, God, for everything. Most of all, for your amazing sacrifice.

And, for some reason, I've been so blessed that I'm on the brink of being treated like a spoiled child. I've received almost everything imaginable on this Earth-- God's love, His mercy, His protection. And He didn't stop there, He continued to rain happy blessings through the people who love me, and whom I love.

Everything from a card laden with lovely words, cookies from a baby brother and an African sister, a huge box of absolutely delish cupcakes, a blossom hairclip, a tiny table deco, Crabtree & Evelyn products from my aunt, jewelry, a wall candle holder, and countless gorgeous jewelry pieces and clothes(this includes a poncho and a peacock skirt-- can you believe that?).

:'D

Thank you, thank you so much for all the gifts. I don't -need- gifts, and have no desire for them, but it was a pleasant surprise to be showered with so many this year. 2012; clearly the best year ever.

Mmm... cupcakes.

Ok, so the box is kinda foggy cause Mum put them in the fridge, but I promise you it's cupcakes. Gorgeous, gorgeous(fattening and sugary) cupcakes. Thank you, baby brother. Well, the adopted white one anyway.

And when I thought it couldn't get any better....

Lilies.

A bouquet of  the sweetest-smelling, most enlightening flowers invaded my room and perfumes the air with the most intoxicating scent ever. Talk about a Christmas Eve pre-gift? :'D
Thank you, sayang. You're truly such a darling. You know just exactly what to do to make a girl feel like a princess.
Funny thing is, I was never one to be romantic. I was not that girl who dreamed of finding her Prince Charming and being treated like a spoiled princess, showered with love, kisses, hugs, presents, and above all, surprises. I was not that girl who was looking for a man, let alone believe in a Prince Charming.

And yet I got an amazingly good-looking, loving, sweet-natured, kind-hearted, talented man I have ever known. Why on earth is God so loving? Why did He bless me with a beautiful man, and along the way add two brothers and a whole lot of friends from different countries?

I am not incredibly lucky, I am incredibly blessed. That goes without saying, even if I did say it anyway. ;D

It's all very well to have received God's love and mercy and His ultimate gift of Salvation and Eternal Life in Heaven, but at the same time He's sweet enough to bless my time here on Earth, too. What a great God I have.

Merry Christmas everyone. Have a blessed, blessed day with your loved ones.

-Feliz Navidad!

Thinking

So how do I say?
Do I say goodbye?
We both have our dreams
We both wanna fly
So let's take tonight
To carry us through
The lonely times..

I still wonder how the coming year would be like. I'm so excited to go off to university in the USA(Here's hoping they actually like me and accept my applications), a dream that has been impatiently rearing up more and more passionately. I have always dreamt of going beyond Malaysia... and America.. has always been my target for as long as I have known. I don't know why. The feeling stuck itself in me one day, and has never left since.

I can't explain it, but America is where I want to be.

It used to be so easy. USA, destination, Hawaii, done. Everything I could ever ask for, everything that suited my personal desires. Sun, sand, sea, and me. Not to mention I could blend in with the crowd, fit in in no time at all, being Asian, the locals would welcome me, outdoor excursions and activities were very much in my blood, and even then I would still be in a world-class university with the best possible education.

Everything changed the moment I met that one special person. Little warning here, this is about to become terribly cliche and might invite some eye-rolling, but it's amazing how God can use one person to change your life incessantly in the most unbelievable ways. And meeting this person certainly has made such a large difference it has changed my perspective completely.

I was listening to an old Westlife song the other day, thus that song lyric above, and was just wondering.. wow. Would that be my goodbye once I leave for university in Hawaii? Relationships are considered one of least important on the priority list, and I know many people who have had to make do with long-distance relationships, or break it off completely because they couldn't be sure they could deal with the pain of it. In a culture like mine, relationships shouldn't even be in the equation. It would be considered preposterous. To put a relationship's priority on par with that of choosing the best university would probably get my father reared up with incredulity. He had not opposed Adrian's request to start a relationship with me, but if he'd has his way he would never have allowed it. I love my dad, but despite all the calls to end the labeling of stereotypes, he is one of the most stereotypical Asian fathers I have ever known.

Anyways, yes. Hawaii now occupies half of my mind. The other half is occupied with another destination in which I would have placed second after Hawaii a year ago.

In the end, however, it is where God wants to place me. I only wish God was a little more clearer, and specific, and tell me directly where He'd like me to go. I would go in an instant, and I would obey Him, even if it comes at a cost of wrecking my emotions. My faith in Him might waver, with all the pain of being away from a person I dearly love, but eventually there's no denying that God is always right. And He knows what's best for me.

And, if I am lonely, scared, terrified, or lost, He would be there. He always has been and always will be. He loved me too much to let me be condemned in my sin of my forefathers for eternity, and suffered incessant pain just to liberate us because He loved us, His creations past, present and future. I mess up, I break down, I ignore Him, I run away from Him, I shun Him, I sin against Him, and yet He still loves me and is always there to pick me up. I remember finding a cartoon picture which moved me to tears once. It was a simple cartoon comic, three pictures in a row. A boy was sobbing and his emotions were in a turmoil. Jesus comes up to him to try and comfort him, but in his anger the boy turns and tells Him to go away. The boy then curls up in a corner by himself, still sobbing, his back turned to Jesus. Jesus didn't take offense, despite the boy pushing him away so rudely, so incredulously. He takes a mirror, and places it in front of the boy and then sits behind him. The boy looks up, and sees Jesus' reflection in the mirror.

And Jesus said with a smile, "Whenever you need me, I'll be there. All you have to do is call upon me and I will comfort you.".

--Okay, so maybe it weren't exactly those words, cause I can't remember the exact ones now. But they certainly were similar. And it came at a time when I was feeling  down, but not daring to call upon God because I felt unworthy, useless, disgusting, and kept calling myself a hypocrite. For some reason I felt dirty, even more so than any other sinner, because I kept sinning despite the fact I knew the word of God. How then should God forgive me?

But He always does. Somehow. And I've lots to learn yet from Him. It's not whether He should or should not forgive me, it's the fact that He always will and always does because His love is more powerful than all.
In this world it is difficult to keep my focus on Him with so many distractions around me. But I will try my very best to follow His path, and most of all, His will for me.

No matter where I go, no matter what I do, God must come first in my life. He is my number one, He is top priority. And if I can learn to trust Him, to strengthen my faith in Him, He will honor that. And everything else will fall into place. And everything will be beautiful.

He who is in me is greater than He who is in the world.

Run

Run
Don't look back
Crush yourself
You're all that's black

Turn around
Look and see
For yourself,
What a failure you'll be

Seal it up
Shut it down
Close your eyes
Make no sound

Dry as bone
Hard as hail
Sharp like stone
Yet soft as silk

Swallow me whole
Consume me all
I am wretched
So let me sleep
Forevermore

No more anger
No more "them"
Just my shell and I
Surviving again.

Blessing

"... Esther. The blessing blessings, my heaven on earth. The name that makes me smile like no earthly force. The name I cherish more than anything on earth."

I love you too. :')

I don't understand how I am a blessing. I see myself as a hard, cold, horribly socially-awkward girl who can't seem to fit in anywhere, who doesn't love people. I see myself as a terrible person, with barely any friends, with a confused mind, and a stubborn head.

I don't understand how you can love me. Or how God can love me.
I still don't understand how I am loved. I just don't. I know it's true; yet why do I find it so difficult to believe? What is it that you see in me that I can't?

I make a horrible friend, I am a horrible person.
I feel so undeserving, all the times, for everything you've given me. I am a bad daughter, a terrible sister, a disastrous friend, a selfish being.

But... in all that, you still love me.
And I can never be more thankful, or cherish so much more than that. Thank you for loving me. Even in a time when I feel like a bag of trash. Thank you for loving me. Even when I screw up and make mistakes. Thank you for loving me. For being me, my flaws, and I.

You too... you are a blessing. Thank you, God, for the sweetest boy in the world.

    I love you too.

Words

"I may be, as others have been fond of pointing out, a naïve fool for believing in all that ‘God-stuff.’ I won’t say that I have been unaffected by such criticism. I am a sensitive fellow beneath this gruff exterior, and people can be so very unkind. But I will happily balance the years of scorn that I have endured for speaking up for my faith for five minutes of God’s small voice whispering to me through the waves that His goodness will prevail over all the misery and unkindness of the world. I still believe it will."
-Stephen Hugh Wise.

I take my hat off to you, sir.

Bah

So, I found this cheesy post on Facebook by one of my friends. Out of curiosity, I decided to read it, though I have a huge disdain for such 'prediction' things that don't mean a thing, and are usually read for entertainment purposes only.

So.... let's see what on earth Marchies are assumed to be.

MARCH BABY

Attractive personality. Sexy. Affectionate. Shy and reserved. Secretive. Naturally honest, generous and sympathetic. Loves peace and serenity. Sensitive to others. Great kisser. Easily angered. Trustworthy. Appreciative and returns kindness. Hardly shows emotions. Tends to bottle up feelings. Observant and assesses others.

NOVEMBER BABY

Trustworthy and loyal. Very passionate and dangerous. Wild at times. Knows how to have fun. Sexy and mysterious. Everyone is drawn towards your inner and outer beauty and independent personality. Playful, but secretive. Very emotional and temperamental sometimes. Meets new people easily and very social in a group. Fearless and independent. Can hold their own. Stands out in a crowd. Essentially very smart. Usually, the greatest men are born in this month. If you ever begin a relationship with someone from this month, hold on to them because their one of a kind.

Well then. Irony certainly has its place in this world.

Little Beauties

My babies are growing full bloom. :')

*SOB*
And it seemed like only yesterday when four of them were packed tight in sleeping green buds.
Sigh. They just grow up so quickly......

First baby bud to peek out!

:DDD

*GASP*

A pink and a white one! :DDDDDD
*JOY*

A girl, and a boy. Aptly pink and white. I know blue is traditionally for boys, but really, who cares. Mum used to dress us all in white, when we were babies. That was because she never went for ultrasounds, and only did it once for each pregnancy to check on the foetus(us rowdy four kids). And when she did she never wanted to know the sex of the baby, because she wanted it as a "surprise". She said it was more fun to behold the excitement of knowing the gender when the baby is born, instead of knowing it beforehand and then that takes away half the fun of giving birth.

Not that giving birth is an easy task, mind you. Mum says it's pretty "simple", except perhaps for the first birth. Cause it's your first time, your body has to change/adjust, it might hurt, you'd be in labor, contractions, yadda yadda yadda. *cough* Help. Women have it hard T.T

ANYWAYS. Omg. I just got off-topic again. Kill me now.

Yeah, so getting back to the REAL topic here....

My pretty, pretty babies! :'DDD

Such gorgeous sweethearts. Pardon me for being all weirdo and treating my six lilies like children, but it's just cause I gush over them so much and it's so exciting to watch them slowly open their petals, all fresh and pretty, and making my room smell so beautiful.

Taken today. :D

Four lilies in full bloom.... awaiting the younger duo!

I... absolutely... LOVE lilies. They're so much better than roses which die after a few days, and don't make your room smell nice at all. Though I love all flowers. I'm just a teeny bit biased when it comes to lilies....
... cause they're so darn gorgeous. :'D

Thank you, sayang, for them. ;)

Charmed

Of all the Butterflies, you picked this one.

God really does work in mysterious ways, doesn't He...

.... I have no regrets. :)

Perhentian

Obtained that picture from Jolene via email. :D

That was on the first day itself, just after we arrived at Bubbles Dive Resort to begin some conservation efforts, and got right down to work prepping for our Ecoteer School Club activities in the next two days. We were all doing the "turtle" sign, there was also the "shark", and maybe another one I can't seem to remember XD.

It was a fabulously amazing trip; a great eye-opener. Certainly something really valuable to my experiences in the future. Here's to another story to tell my kids! :D

I can't stay on long to blog; I have too much work to get done this week. I feel like dying, but I really wanted to just get this posted up because that trip was worth it. I came back realizing I needed to brush up on my Malay speaking skills.

Oh, and the reason why I was holding that turtle puppet was because I was the "director" of the puppet show, or at least, I was on that team. Since I created the script, wrote it out, got the ball rolling, Daniel was all, "Alright, you're the director!" and put me in charge of the turtle puppet I aptly named Cik Penyu. The play was in Bahasa, okay? I didn't really have much choices in naming them Malay names....

Aites, gotta go nows for some epic scrounging of presentations and assignments.

WISH ME LUCK. :D

Thank you God for a lovely trip. For keeping me safe, for bringing me home safe, for keeping me healthy and well throughout. Thank you for blessing me. Amen.

To be

Send someone to love me
I need to rest in arms
Keep me safe and warm
In the pouring rain
Give me endless summer
Lord I feel the cold
Feel I'm getting old
Before my time

As my soul
Heals the shame
I will grow through this pain
Lord I'm doing
All I can
To be a better man.

Senior Citizen

Happy Birthday, Fajar! :)

He's 55 years old now, my old man, he is, he is.

I wish sometimes that my old dad would have a little sentiment in him. Whatever sentiment left seems to have vanished in the previous years before. Oh well, I'm still very proud of him.

I love you daddy! And I pray for you. God bless you. And I still hope that you will meet Him one day, soon. And I hope to spend eternity in Heaven with you, too.

God, please bless my father's soul, and have mercy on him. Thank you, Lord.

True Blood

It seems my grandmother's previous remarks on me have come true XD.

Took that during last-minute hustles for pictures with the baby in the sling. Mum was being a huge fusspot, oh, I want to see the baby's face, oh, look, she's so cute, d'awww... I miss babies.... GAHH. Mum, for the last time, It's. A. Doll. And when I randomly took a spot by the window she snapped and got this result.

My grandma always said I was like an "Orang Melayu". XD Though it was a long time ago, when I was a youngster, extremely tanned from the swimming classes I took, had long black hair, dark eyes, and looked nothing like a Chinese. Oh, and I also had an aversion to pork, and refused to eat pork when we were in Kampar for the Chinese New Year. I don't really know why.... I know there's a particular reason why I went on a pork strike, but I can't seem to remember. But.. yeah, getting off topic here. The point is, my mum took that pic, and was like, wow, Esther, you look like a replica of a Malay traditional woman.

I didn't expect it either, but I was bemused by the photo XD. Who knew I could be so deceptive... *cough*. And I wasn't even wearing traditional Malay clothes! I was in an Indian outfit for National Day for church service!

And, I'm very proud to be Chinese. I mean, yeah, I'm amused that I look Polynesian(or so some people say) but I'll always be very proud of my heritage. There's not much in me, I'm not some Eurasian with the best features and genetics, or of some other mixed blood, but, I'm glad to be who and what I am today.

And who said I was denying my Chinese ancestry?

Safe

So I heard this on the radio today, and it made me think of someone.

And I tweaked it a little bit, changed just one little word, and it makes a whole lot of a difference. I love how God is amazing, and just puts these little ideas into my head and it works out almost perfectly into what my head was trying to say.
I pray for you, and I hope for you, and I know God will keep you safe..

Hard to find a way to get through,
 it's a tragedy
Pulling at me like the stars do,
you're like gravity
Even if the wind blows
It makes it hard to believe

How you gonna love, how you gonna feel?
How you gonna live your life like the dream you have is real?
If you lost your way, He will keep you safe
He'll open up all the world inside, see it come alive tonight

He will keep you safe...

Doesn't even matter to you to see what I can see
I'm crawling on the floor to reach you, I'm a wreck you see
When you're far from home now
Makes it hard to believe

So how you gonna love, how you gonna feel?
How you gonna live your life like the dream you have is real?
If you lost your way, He will keep you safe
He'll open up all your world inside 'til you come alive tonight

He will keep you safe

We all fall down
We all feel down
'Cause rainy days and summer highs
The more we pray the more we feel alive

How you gonna love, how you gonna feel?
How you gonna live your life like the dream you have is real?
How you gonna love, how you gonna feel?
How you gonna live your life like the dream you have is real?

If you lost your way, He will keep you safe...

He'll open up all your world inside so you come alive tonight.

He will keep you safe...

A Poison Tree

I was angry with my friend
I told my friend, my wrath did end.
I was angry with my foe;
I told it not, my wrath did grow.

And I watered it in fears,
Night and morning with my tears;
And I sunned it with smiles,
And with soft deceitful wiles.

And it grew both day and night,
Till it bore an apple bright.
And my foe beheld it shine,
And he knew that it was mine.

And into my garden stole.
When the night had veiled the pole;
In the morning glad I see,
My foe outstretched beneath the tree.

-William Blake

I found this poem today on a table in class. Someone left it there.

Maybe it was unimportant, merely a scrap of paper meant for academic use.
Not to me.

Never, ever, to me. Especially not this one.

I Got Them Moves Like..

Melora has a nickname for me. She calls me either Sharkie or Sharkster, due to my love of sharks. And you know what? I'm a self-confessed lover of sharks. I just love them. I mean, I've always been an advocate for animal love, and I love all sorts of creatures, and appreciate the uniqueness of bugs and insects even if they make me feel squeamish(EXCEPT for useless buggies like ROACHES. Those need to be killed. ASAP.). I just... they captivate me. But there are certain animals which just have a placement of ten on a scale of one to ten, compared to others which might, I dunno, have a placement of maybe seven. For example, I'm really not into orang-utans, though there are some people who are so in love with them. I like orang-utans, and I do get mad at the people who torture them and burn their habitat, but.. well... I guess sharks and tigers just come for me first. After all, I'm a cat lover.

Here's an interesting side note: While analysing Life Of Pi in ENG4U last sem, Leandra and I were the last to leave class while she asked a few questions to Mr Wise regarding the novel, which is has a lot of animal elements in it. I think after some kind of joke Mr Wise asked use what sort of animal we'd like to be personally, and I randomly said, "A panther." Boy did I make him laugh. And yes, I love wild cats. I wouldn't know how to choose between a panther or a leopard or a jaguar or a tiger or.. yeah you get the point.

But no matter. I've realized, recently, how much I've been loving sharks. So much so I'm intrigued to the point I start storing amazing photos I find of them, taken by these professional photographers who stay up for DAYS on a tiny boat waiting for a glimpse of them. I take my hat off to them, sirs.

I mean... just look at them!

Breathtaking

Those shots are one of my favorites. It just.. literally highlights the majesty and beauty and the dominant side of a shark, in particular, the Great White. I'm obsessed with Great Whites. I think they're amazing, wondrous creatures, full of mystery and intrigue, dangerous but reclusive, stunning but armed with killer instinct. Something about them just captivates me. It's one thing if it's a picture of a dolphin jumping out of the water, but a shark..? Let alone a Great White? Amazing. Just, absolutely, plain beauty and creativity of the Lord.

Here's some other shots of some skinnier models:

This one isn't quite as large as the first one. Hence me dubbing it the size zero model XD. Another thing I entirely loved about the first shark was it's massive size. Such a symbol of power and speed, it's beautiful, in my eyes. The skinny one, though, is quite the acrobat. Reminds me of a couple of friends who parkour and do back flips. Hrmm.. see, sharks do inspire humans indeed! :D

JAWS

This shot is freaky, but nevertheless still majestic. Reminds me of a lion's pride, or something. Its massive head up out of the water, teeth in full view, showcasing its power. Gorgeous.

Nature's (second-rate)acrobat next to dolphins

I hate the backlash against sharks, the point when shark attacks spur people to demand a hunt-and-kill campaign to take down the 'killer shark', as they dub it. Surfers get attacked, killed, for being in waters which are, excuse me, their domain, their habitat, their world. It's their home, where they live. It's the 21st century, people should get their knowledge first on which waters are safe, and which are not, and which might prove tactful. If you know you are at risk of getting attacked, but choose to swim anyway, and then get injured or something, quit blaming the shark. Most shark attack victims, the survivors, I mean, have often spoken in support for sharks. I remember a report of a survivor who said he refused to blame the shark, it was an animal after all, and shouldn't be held responsible.

And that's the truth.

Should we blame a tiger if we invade its territory, and it attacks us? Do we blame a snake if we accidentally stepped on it and it bites us in defense? Come one, people. It's no different when it comes to sharks, the only difference is that it the water can never be taken away, and the ocean is far larger than rainforests.

The problem lies within those who have lost loved ones, and those who fear for their lives, when shark attacks happen. They start staging demands for a hunt-and-kill, which I think is a shame, because you're wasting effort and energy killing an innocent shark, when the money could be used to help out with this endangered species.

Lol, now I'm starting to sound like some kind of obsessed shark activist.

Don't do stupid things like these..

... you're just asking for trouble.

I had a funny dream the other night. Okay, so it wasn't funny, I was nearly eaten by a shark, but my point is, it kinda reinforced my love for them. I'm pretty afraid of them, and wouldn't put myself in a dangerous position whereby I might get mauled of killed, but I do think they are a fabulous species. I wish people would stop eating shark's fin*COUGH**Chinesepeople*, I wish people would just stop with the hate on sharks. They're lovely creatures, and need to be saved. Respect their territory, and they'll respect your lives.

LOL. I really am a shark activist now. I don't know why, something just compelled me to blog about this, after a long time of not blogging. It's prolly not even interesting, and highly un-moving, but it's just what I feel. One of my biggest dreams someday would be to go shark diving, and see a Great White up front, but in a cage, of course. Heck, I'm not putting myself at risk in case it mistakes me for chum and goes MUNCH and half of me is gone in a sec.

So yeah, while Melora is absolutely in love with unicorns, I love my sharks.

Maybe, one day I'll have one about panthers, you know, black panthers.

They're the epitome of majestic. Most argue that lions are, but if you saw them in real life, black panthers are like the dark lords. Heck, gotta love them.

Oh, don't look at me like that.
