HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009 !

This will be my last and final post in 2008! In about ONE hour its goodbye 2008
and hello 2009! :D

This post is specially to wish everyone a very very very
HAPPY NEW YEAR! :)

This year tak dapat go see fireworks in KL. Last year's fireworks were awesome. But there's always a next year.And the next. And the next. This has been one of the best and most amazing years ever.

Take this time off to remember all those good memories and also all those u want to forget. After all, 2008 only comes once.

So make the most of this precious time cos 2008 will soon be nothing but a ghost.

As for 2009,

You gotta work REAL hard if u wanna beat 2008! i'll be looking forward to it ;)

The Aftermath

Aftermath. Ppl jumping for joy. Screams of delight. Screams of disappointment. Cries of happiness. Cries of anguish. You get all these for sure in the dreaded AFTERMATH.

THE RESULTS DAY

They said 10am. Steff said 11am. Steff was right. Always screw the newspaper.

I met up with jia around 10.30. All we did was talk. And talk.

And then later ppl started showing up! Saw Shia, Choo, Ajay, dan lain lain. Even Pui Teng was there! And EVERYONE was a HEAD TALLER than ME. AAAARRGHH especially choo. and even zhi ming! Shyte.. what do these boys eat during a period of ONE MONTH?????

Anyway...

i was pissed at first at my lone B. But when i called mum she was ecstatic. She was just overjoyed that i got in pure science safely. But it was nice to hear her expression over the phone :)

After that i was a mad monkey rushing here and there and comparing results with other equally excited ppl. The B was still haunting me but i put it at the back of my head and tried not to think abt it.

And i will hate Geo for the rest of my life.

But i know i did my best though it didnt work out; and yes i'm satisfied. :)

PMR and its Results

Oh well. It could have been worse right? 6A's aint bad; though its abit disappointing to miss out on that one last bloody A.

Yeah my weakest subject cost me tipping off the year on high. SHYTE.

But im glad jia got straight A's( damn u lck go tell ppl de make ppl nervous saja) and so did choo and ivor and ajay and anybody else out there who scored straight. :D Really happy for u guys and congrats :p;p

But im really thankful for this result and God granted my wish and answered my prayers. So He actually deserves all the thanks because without Him i would nvr have achieved this. So thank you, God; i have no regrets for what u hv bestowed on me :)

But then again; i rather like an "AAAAAAA" then an "AAAAABA".

When i saw the lone B i was like, "SHYTE".

Tomorrow; tomorrow and tomorrow

Yeah its all the fuss abt tomorrow, that is; 30th December 2008. The day we form threes hv not been looking forward to. But yes, like it or not, it will come and has come at last.



Countdown to PMR Results : 10 HOURS (yup everyone start going omg)

i really hv no expectations whatsoever abt my results. i havent the faintest idea whether i would score really bad, really good, or just plain average. God grant me straight A's, man. Like UPSR! :D

Oh well there's actually no real reason to start freaking out or worrying cos whats done is done and u cant change whats written on the paper anyhow. Me? Nervous, yes. Worrying, no point.

But i look forward enormously to the excitement and the anxiety and the atmosphere with everyone again tomorrow. Wishing all of u good luck once more and remember: ITS JUST PMR (..right? )

The First Day of Christmas

CHRISTMAS DAY

I hadnt anything planned but then mum woke me up and said 3 yee was coming to pick joel up for an outing in KL. She asked me if i wanted to go and frankly i didnt want to at all; the the thought of a whole day looking after my young cousins and bro wasnt very tempting. But mum forced me to go zzzz. oh well. We set off to:



Even the thought of going to Pavilion didnt change my mind abt not wanting to go. Yeah, what with one 11 year old brother, two 9 year olds , one 4 year old and a 13 year old , nope, no shopping spree for me.


But you cant deny she's adorable huh

We went to have lunch first. i had already eaten popiah so me and Fei Sian just had a milkshake.


Strawberry milkshake. It had vanilla icecream in it! :D:D


Fei Sian still had to share a fish and chips with her sister. But she chose a mango milkshake anyway.


Thus feeding her as well. Seeing the responsibility Fei Sian has looking after her younger sisters makes me glad i dont hv a younger sister. Thank goodness joel is a boy.XD


Dont puke yet.. !!


Sher Wen and Sin Yuen shared fish and chips and an ABC. Amazingly they finished it off.


As for joel.. well i think u how he's feeling by just looking at him. And his nasi lemak.


The Pavilion was freaking packed with crowds and crowds rushing to catch the big xmas sale. Looking at the amount of stores in Pavilion made me dizzy.


They had 3 freaking Giordanos!!


Decos inside were lame.


3 Yee spent ages here. Told u i couldnt go shopping whatsoever.

After that we went outside to see whatever the crowds were gathering for.


Oh. Right. A Christmas tree.


And a giant snow globe. Right. So that was what the fuss was about.

We spent awhile walking around but with so many kids in tow me and Fei Sian ended up babysitting them instead of me going shopping. And soon the 4 year old became tired followed by the nine year olds so we headed home pretty quick.

What a thing to waste on Christmas. Well, at least i wasnt ill like the past 2 Christmases. Right now, its all abt the PMR Results coming up!

The Night Before Christmas

On Christmas eve, my dad took us all out for a dinner celebration! WEEEEE! Vincenzo's here we come! Oh yeah, so i promised the pics. Here they are.. abit dark and blur thanks to the lighting but otherwise seeable. Dont mind the soppy title that sounds like a Christmas movie. This is what happened during the night before MY Christmas. XD



We went down Bangsar to this italian restaurant called Vincenzo's. It was the one dad was supposed to take me to for my birthday but.. ah lazy wan tell story. The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous. This is a slight sneak peek.

All of us were really enjoying ourselves except my 2 idiot brothers. One was complaining of a earache and another was acting like a kid and merajuk-ing cos he said he felt like vomiting after sitting in the car.

The tree was pretty. But Santa was freaky cos he kept moving left right left right left right. I know its supposed to be realistic with him blowing the trumpet but its still freaky.

Appetizers. Bread with some kind of garnishing or whatever-they-call-it, garlic bread and red wine. mmmm.

Mum let me try some wine. one word to describe it. BLEUK.


Me christmas dinner! :D:D The pizza was huge but it had a thin crust. Thank goodness i was super hungry but i still couldnt finish the pizza. Kor helped me eat a few. :D Oh, and the cranberry juice tasted like ribena.


Mmmmmm....


Clean :D. i always eat up clean. Minus the chewed bits of bacon that i failed to consume. i can nvr learn to eat bacon no matter how many times i try to.


One last lone piece. ONE LAST LONE PIECE. AND NOBODY WANTED TO CLAIM IT. i would but i was stuffed. What a pity. :(

Strawberry gelato. Its way better than ice-cream. :)

Mum had mango gelato and dad tried green tea. Ugh. Bad idea. Apparently he thought so too.

Its Christmas at last! Im blogging a day late thanks to the comp being preoccupied on Xmas. So now i've to play catch-up.

Steff opening hers. She got pretty bangles and a cute wristbag. And then mum and her started fighting over the bangles becos mum liked it so much. Lol.

Mum and dad had no idea we had gifts waiting for them too! we were a little late in giving them cos i had yet to complete mums card and we couldnt find proper paper to wrap dad's gift.


This is mum's. I managed to complete the card in nick of time on Christmas day itself. Hey, it matches the bag we bought! :D:D


This is dad's. This card is so so so so so so so freaking ugly. But dad doesnt really mind. :)

Mummy was pleasantly surprised when we presented it to her. She was abit taken aback and "lectured" us abit for buying her and dad Body Shop items. But hey, its worth it! :D

Mum didnt get us anything for Christmas so she gave us each RM50!!

The Eve of Christmas!

Its the eve of Christmas! I'm writing this at approximately 10.50pm on the 24th of December. Dont mind the timing at the bottom... its always cuckoo. Anyway, its about an hour away from Christmas and i wanna open me presents! :D



I just got home from our Christmas dinner. For once our whole family went : Mum, Dad, Steff, Joe, me and Kor. Usually Kor wouldnt follow us anywhere as a family but this year dad said he'd take us out to celebrate Christmas and we asked him to come along and he actually did. Man, am i stuffed! ok, maybe not that stuffed but it was a yummy dinner and i had GELATO for dessert! :D:D:D Right now i feel as stuffed as a Christmas turkey. XP I'll upload the photos sometime later cos i still have to complete the Christmas cards tonight.

Still, the best New Year and Christmas present would be 7A's, but nobody can give that to me except myself. Hopefully, it will cap off a wonderful and fulfilling year. Merry Christmas everyone. :)

The Countdown Begins

Ah yes. The Dreaded Countdown to PMR Results Day is on the roll. I'm sort of 50-50 in my hopes---- i dont want the day to come and yet i still want it to come. Bring it on 30th December!!

Countdown to Christmas : 3 Days, 71 hours 50 minutes
Countdown to PMR Results : 8 Days

Anyway, today Steff, me and our cousin Ruth went xmas shopping down at Mid Valley. We spent at least 4o min circling the parking lot looking for a space... at long last, desperate, starvingly hungry and equally annoyed and tired out, we asked a family walking to their car to lead us on. LOL the lady looked so shocked cos she nvr understand english so the son had to explain to her XD.

After lunch, Ruth and us went our separate ways. Ruth went shopping at Jusco while Steff and i stopped to browse at the Body Shop. Well we were suppose to be buying our parents and i suggested The Body Shop cos... well they like the stuff there. And i can write abt it cos they dont read this anyway so im nt breaking any secrets :D. Although Steff earlier wanted to get them wine glasses, we ended up getting them stuff from the body shop. I'll post pics of the gifts later on tomorrow probably. After that, Steff went to M.A.C and got her very first piece of MAKE UP! Haha, she finally got eyeliner though she had to fork out a scary 60 bucks for it. Steff is a real teenager; hankering after nothing but bikinis, shopping and most recently, makeup. We went window shopping for awhile but had to leave around 4 to beat the jam. Man, i gotta go Mid Valley more often. Pyramid is getting to be a real bore.

But tomorrow im going out with jia again weeee! Finally gonna catch a movie and im still not done with my christmas shopping. I'm so broke by tomoro. But after all, its the Christmas spirit.

All I Want For Christmas

5 more days to Christmas! The countdown to Christmas is dwindling and I'm getting into the christmas mood! Mummy used to put up a christmas tree every year at the beginning of december. But then earlier this year she gave our tree away T.T boohoooooooooo .. she said we were getting too old for it and that it was just collecting dust. Well we used to have fun decorating it and putting up the lights and then adding cotton to make "snow" and argue over the places where we hung the ornaments.



Ahhh, old memories. But i supposed we are too old for a tree now anyway though i still wished the tree was here cos its so fun to see the colorful lights blinking when we switch lights off. Hey everyone has a kid inside who is nvr going to grow up; in this case the kid in me is often brought to life to the very extent... during Christmas. On the eve of christmas me and steff would do last minute finishings to our presents and put them under the tree at 12am sharp when everyone is asleep..



Anyway, all i want for Christmas is to be able to celebrate the joy with my family and give them presents and such. The hard work is always worth it when u get the priceless look on their faces. But if u ask me what i want for Christmas, hmmm... lets see. I dont really know. I really dont.

So surprise me! :D
