When mum and i arrived, first of all, we got lost. We went up tht stairs and down again and still couldnt find the 4th floor. Eventually we found our way after mum asked some lecturer walking past... turns out not only us were lost. On our way we encountered another lecturer directing one family lol. And students were staring at me. Maybe they thought this girl looked way to young to enroll in college ahaha.
Thats "Canadian International Matriculation Programme : 35th Commemoration Ceremony 2008". The front seats were taken up and there was space at the front still but mum chose the second last row. Ish potong stim.
The ceremony was held in the gymnasium. It was a pretty large hall and and had a basketball court drawn on it.
See so many empty front seats. Thanks to mum we had to watch from far... though i complained. Alot. At first we were early i suppose so it was pretty empty.
This is what happened half an hour later. Oh the proud proud parents. XD
Allow me to show the features of a classic high school gym...
The seats for the gym audience. When there's a match on.
Um... i just liked the interior design.
The brochure. Its a really nice looking programme. :)
The inside of the brochure.
Stephanie's name in the brochure. In case its too blur for you then its the longest one ending with a "Bee". XD
Suddenly the row in front of us was occupied by this indian family. i wouldnt mind actually if only they hadnt brought kids... seriously who brings kids to a graduation??? Obviously they were fidgety and man werent they half that noisy.
And then we had to stand for the national anthems of our country and Canada too. These ppl damn patriotic wei. While they were playing Negaraku i was scrabbling through my bag for my ipod hahaha. It is Pek Ngoh's dream for smksu to turn into the same atmosphere every monday... well she can keep on dreaming.
And then here come the procession!
First the lecturers and their pengetua and all(i think)...
The guests of honor and VIPs...
And here come the big fat group of graduates!
There was some advantage of sitting at the back after all. i didnt need to run all the way to grab photos since they came in from the back. :D
There's Steff and Amanda. In case of a mix up the pengacau is wearing those strappy black heels and her friend is in the blue dress in front of her.
She saw me and i bugged her to smile but she didnt. Oh well not my fault the pic turned out crappy. See Amanda smiled like the rest. All Ah Bee did was stone there and act blur ahaha. XD
After that they had those speeches by the commissioner of Canada and the pengetua and some datuk datin ppl and OMG it was so freakin boring. I begin to almost wish i hadnt come. At that moment i was wishing for some sugus or some sweet... i was falling asleep.
But since i had no food i had to turn to music. Thank goodness i brought my ipod along although i actually wasnt going to. But even with over 200 songs i was still falling asleep. Listening to the same old songs can get boring too.
i single-handedly amused myself for awhile and then came the graduation part..u know the part when they give the scroll and all... yea that one. i went all the way to the front this time to take photos and i did take them. However, thanks to some malfunction or some sort in my phone, the PHOTOS WENT MISSING. so i missed out on posting them... sorry. stupid phone. Tht was the peak of the ceremony and i missed it. Damn this asshole phone.
Mum and Steff and i. This was when steff used her camera after coming down and all...though i looked like crap. Ah well so i always do. >.<
And so that was the first graduation ceremony. Next to graduate will be Kor.. then ME! XD
