16 is Magic

16TH IS MAGIC.

Meet your new Aussie Open champion. :D

Or fourth time champion, maybe.
BUT; his first as a dad! Wooot! XD

Better luck next time, Murray.

"I CAN CRY LIKE ROGER, ITS A SHAME I CAN'T PLAY LIKE HIM...,"
- Andy Murray.

I felt a little bad during the award ceremony when Murray started to break down in tears. His voice was all shaky and wobbly when he gave his speech(not that he could manage more than a few words anyway) he had to cut it short because the tell-tale sign of his nose going all red from his attempt to compress his tears was so obvious.

No, really, i did feel bad.

So to make up for being so harsh on Andy, i shall post this super nice photo of him. :)

What?
It's a nice pic, dont you think? Feds looks awesome, and Murray looks NICE. For once, i will say he looks really nice here. Looooove the pic. :D

Well, at least he's smiling at last. After going all watery-eyed during the speech.

Oh, and my tennis fever hasnt gone down yet, unfortunately. I'm still hankering after matches which dont exist anymore on tv. Sobs. T___T

They should show the Hit for Haiti charity match on tv. Damn malaysian operators!

RAFA : My ball!
FEDS : You want it? COME AND GET IT.
RAFA : AND SO I WILL...

NADAL : Incoming, BALL! !
RODDICK : I got it! MOVE, RAFA!
NADAL : OWH!
BALLBOY : Eek!
LINESLADY : :O

XD
Hehehehehehe.

I tell you, those crazy doubles matches saw the most random antics of our usually serious tennis players. I dont know what Nadal and Feds were thinking hitting each others racquets and i am absolutely clueless as to what Roddick was up to.

SERENA : *imitates tennis commentator* Its down to the wire, 3-all in the tiebreaker, Clijsters to serve...
FEDERER : ONLY ON ESPN! *sings theme song of ESPN*.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. XD
That was just one part. There were dozens more funny parts especially where Djokovic was concerned XD

SERENA : Alright, lets switch with Samantha!
UMPIRE : Yeah, lets have a lady!
CLIJSTERS : Hey, can i have a lady too?
UMPIRE : Sure..
CLIJSTERS : NOVAK! Get over here!
DJOKOVIC : *walks like a sissy woman onto the court*

Ahh, good times. Okay i must stop rambling now or i will get carried away. Like i always do.
FRENCH OPEN, HERE I COME. ;)
Really cant wait for Rafa to regain his throne. Vamos Rafa!

In the meantime, congrats to Roger Federer, the king of Melbourne and the crown of tennis legends.

LAST STROKE.

Feds, i'm all out for you. Kill off that pale lil british darling right there :D.

* ******* *

Okay, i'm not that hateful to hate poor Murray for doing nothing aside from what he always does. I just really cant stand him. And he just aggravated it after he made poor Nadal pull out.

And he's forever over-celebrating and screaming his lion lungs out and making those constipated faces like this huge fish-mouth look. No kidding. Proof is in front of you.

Lol, now i'm sounding hateful. XD Trust me, i dont hate him, i just dont like him. There's a difference, you know!

The past 2 weeks have been tennis-packed although i dont get to watch much thanks to the bunch of hw and study weighing me down. But when i do, i never regret spending time seeing Nadal and Feds and the rest working their magic on court.

You'll be back, stronger better faster. I know it. :)

Screw all those critics dragging down his performance and making a huge fuss over his pulling out due to injury. I mean, he's proven himself beyond everyone's expectations and yet they start predicting a weak future just because his knee acted up.

WAKE UP PPL. THIS IS RAFAEL NADAL. HE AINT NO NORMAL PLAYER OR PERSON.
Because he's extraordinary beyond words. :)

And he'll prove all those bastards wrong and make them wish they hadnt even thought of those things they couldnt keep their mouths shut about.

LOL, i got emo over Nadal! XD Hahah, i was emo-ier last year after Feds lost and almost hated nadal for it. But i cant. Me love him too much. :D

I was also abit upset after del Potro lost. He's a really, really, really good player, but i dont know why all my favourite players seem to be plagued by injuries this season, except Feds.

Del Potro's just so full of potential and if u watch him play you can almost see him fulfilling those promises he presents to the tennis world. Loooove him to death.

Get fit, dude, and win your second major! :)

Grand Slams are awesomely fun. You get all kinds of funny news and photos and updates and the adrenaline rush when there's a fight oncourt.

Good news : Verdasco cut his hair short again! (now he's hot) :D
Lousy news : He lost, obviously. CAME SO FREAKIN CLOSE AGAINST DAVYDENKO.
WHY, Verdasco, why???? T__________T

Djokovic is definitely a Joker. XD
I'm actually starting to warm towards him after watching the Hit For Haiti charity exhibition. Thought he was the most hilarious random clown on court. XD

OH, OH, and BAGHDA IS BACK!!! ;D ;D

Yeahhh, go BAGHDA!! XD

Sorry, i meant Baghdatis. Steph and i used to call him Baghda as a nickname hahah. Its AWESOME to see him back, missed him so much all those time he was injured.

He even had time to chill out. 8D

And the Australian Open also hailed the return of the pajama pants! :D

In the form of the Bryan brothers. XD
ALL HAIL THE INFLUENCE OF RAFA NADAL!

Hahah, Nadal would be proud, yeahhhh.

Speaking of other tennis gear...

Feds' footwear's so... white.

I'd be damned if i could keep my shoes and socks that clean but then again i dont own professional-extremely-high-quality-made-for-your-exclusive-use tennis shoes, nor do i ever wear high socks. XD

But i would kill to have Sharapova's earrings. 8D

Unfortunately, they're Tiffany. And even more unfortunately for Sharapova, she only got to wear them once before losing in the first round lol.

But i dont care for Sharapova, i support the comeback queen of tennis! :D

GO JUSTINE HENIN! :)

Well, she lost to Serena but next time Williams wont be so lucky.

The Williams sisters completely dominated everything in tennis. Even doubles, which they triumphed. O.O

And then Serena went and won the singles.
Things better go my way at the men's singles tonight....or at least, Feds' way.

In the final moments of tennis, it just seems like it was yesterday that it just started.

Adios, Aussie Open.

Grossology

GROSSOLOGY.

Thats what i learnt on Thursday. Never mess with the insides of things you're about to eat for lunch and that being a doctor is a bad idea, a pathologist a worst one.

Apparatus ready. Scalpel, ready. Tweezers, ready. Scissors, check.

... and i didnt know how to start. LOL.

All i did was poke at it with the scalpel and when i tried to sluice through it for a cross-section the muscles were so tough the tip got stuck and i, er, started getting squeamish.

Took us ages to get that heart open..before we figured out that the scissors were a better idea. And also that we couldnt locate any aorta, pulmonary vein, or any other recognisable features except some tiny little strands on the walls which we hadnt any idea what it was in the first place. Holly shyyytee. XD

But since my dad had nothing better to do other than get me three chicken hearts, i decided to try my luck at the second one. For some reason it was thinner and slimmer. Poor chicken didnt have as much protein as the first.

Well. At least it was a more successful second dissection. :D
We found the missing aorta after all! XD

Should have thought of this earlier.

My awesome two specimens and me. :D

After that we brought out the big guns...and started firing away.

More like tearing it apart, poor fish. D:

I couldnt even bring myself to just open the gills. After Anushya opened them and we saw those gilly gills we didnt dare to go further till Suhana came and ripped the insides open..literally.

Yup.

You had no idea how ganas Suhana seemed pulling the kembung's insides out after all our dainty poking and pulling.

And so, with our dainty poking and pulling method, we set to work searching for that tiny fish heart. Which, by the way, we mistakened a good many other bits and pieces of organs for.

I couldnt help doing a bit of carving. :D The flesh looked waaaaayy too inviting hahah.

Eventually we did find that heart..or at least we think its the heart. Unfortunately i think we also battered it a little too much to the point of beyond recognition. D:
How was i to know it was that lembik after the toughness of the chicken heart? And we poked the rest of the organs and not one got a tiny nick. Especially those disgusting intestines and liver.

I was fine. Initially.
(Jia, when taking a normal photo switch back to auto laaaah haiyo. Digital macro mana bolehhh lol.)

I didnt get to grab more photos after that. Cam died from lack of battery, sadly. -.-'
But the smell and sight of the horribly gross juices and blood and organs stayed with me all the way till BM and made me feel like puking and also praying that my mum didnt fry any fish for lunch.

And Suhana's words while she was disemboweling the fish with her bare hands(we were wearing gloves and still felt squeamish, gawd) were still ringing in my head as she was telling us that as women, we should not feel squeamish and that we should get used to it as it is part of normal life.

O.O......?

I beg her pardon? My future husband can go disembowel our dinner fish for all i care! Because i'm not slicing a fish's tummy open and see all those grey swollen jelly-like intestines start oozing out again. D:

Okayy i'm already feeling ill just uploading and looking at those photos. Stomach wishes to throw up now.

(Thnx jia for being the cameraman, although my cammie died lol XD)

IHEARTYOU.

IHEARTYOU.

No, i'm not kidding. But dissecting chicken hearts(two if them, ahem) and poking through a fish's remains for its heart can be pretty disgusting, much much much MUCH contrasting to what my title suggests.

I felt incredibly ill to the stomach till i was actually on the verge of vomiting. The last time i felt like that was like, how many light years ago???? The smell was beyond nauseating, much worse than what i got sitting in my dad's BMW.( Yes its a horrid BMW. Makes you carsick, ugh).

I'd post some of the few random photos Jia managed to snap before my cammie went and died, but that would only happen during the weekend. OF ALL DAYS, O CANON IXUS. You had to have low battery on the day when i could take the most photos. SHYTE.

Right now im just online to blog abit and to listen to Tokio Hotel. Yes, TOKIO HOTEL.

I actually cant believe im actually listening to them. Okay, its just one song, but its so sweeeeeet. :) :)

I would've memorized the german version if it hadnt been in german. lol. :D And no, i still love Nickelback. And yes, i still listen to Linkin Park. And yes, i know the lead singer looks like a woman. But no, he aint gay(surprised?).

Will blog about the disgusting dissection tomorrow. Complete with pics, so be ready to puke. XD

P.S Oh, and Ajay, since i found out you're reading this, please make an effort to get your butt onto the road and run instead of sitting by the window each day watching me run. HAHA even your mum wants you to follow my awesome "example"! XD LOL, *bangga*.

Vamos is the new Come On.

VAMOS IS THE NEW "COME ON".

Steph told me to go post it on Nadal's facebook page but i didnt know how.
And when i found out how i had my doubts.

Imagine your name being etched on some random fan's wrist whom you dont even know?
Uhhh, i'll think about it.

Went for squash today and met Jing Juek and Pei Nee and Emily all there, HAHA. While i was all lonesome using up my adrenaline smashing the ball in the back court, there was like major training chaos in the front courts. I got bored after doing literally everything, forehand, backhand, off the back wall, volley, boace, dropshot...heck i even practiced smashing OFF the glass wall because i had nothing better to do.

So what do i do?
You go and watch the other girls play of course.
Coach was walking back, forth, back, forth, round and round the club. I kept saying hi and bye to him. Really dont know what he was doing.

I sparred with one guy but i really still suck at matches. WTH, i can smash nonstop during practice but my shots come out weak when i start playing. Talk about no pressure lol.

I havent really sparred with the other girls. Sure die if i dont get more match practice. And also if i dont re-string my racquet. HAHA STEPH MY STRING FINALLY GONNA MATI DE! AFTER ALL THOSE YEARS LOOOOOOOOL. Stupid string dont wanna break but affects my hitting and the ball goes haywire.

I CAN DO IT. MSSS this year. Esther boleh. XD

Ohh, and before i forget.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JIA CHEN, JOYI, NATALIE AND CARMEN.
All are now older and wiser. Pronto. :D

At Loss.

AT LOSS.

I have no idea how to take part in this year's sports day without going for training which clashes with my piano. WTFS. D: D:

And to top it off, i have got no idea who the kasturi teachers are????? Anybody have a clue?
i want to take a shot at it since its my last year anyway even if i dont win a thing.

This is the part i dread most, damnit.

Revisitation

REVISITATION.

Before the first Grand Slam event kicks off, i shall revisit the past--

--oops. Sorry. Wrong picture. i meant, er, that one below.

There you go. :D
(BTW Steph SEE I FOUND THAT CLASSIC PIC HAHA! Told you he did a backleg flip :P)

Ohh, and speaking of which, Nadal left a whole load of memories to remember besides winning.

Such as.

Aside from presenting his on-court ritual-habit, i actually meant those sparkly pants.

Who on earth puts sparkles on his playing shorts???? Initially thought they were tiny pieces of paper or tissue which got stuck on when he left tissue in the pocket and forgot to take them out and shoved it in the washing machine...okay i wont tell grandmother story about what happens to my baju. The point is,

HE PUT SEQUINS ON HIS PANTS.
Oh, Nadal whhyyyyyyy????? D:

If he could put sequins, goodness knows what he'll do next. Flower emblems? Glitter? Like Mariah Carey???

Doesnt matter anyway, since they did help him win after all. Oh, oh and Steph remembered what i told you abt angles? XD

For those who arent thinking what i'm thinking, you're incompetently uncorrupted. LOL.

But nothing beats the best memory other than---

(Sparklypantssparklypantssparklypants....... )

-__________________________________________-'

And i thought my previous pic was gay. Argh, burning eyeballs.
And i thought role models were suppose to set good examples.

Thats better. :D

Aw, cheer up, Feds.

--or not.

Nadal made him cry, but he brings good cheer too!

AWwWwWwWwWwWWwWwWwwwwWwwwwwww...

.. abit too close for comfort.

Returning to the present, i shall also return to Federer! :D
Ah, the perfect role model..

O.O

( Nadal's pajama pants? )

.
.

lol.

.... with a rainbow collection of shirts. YEAH. :D

Tennis is so distracting i worry about my studies AND my piano. I'm really dying for my second piece. I cant even hear any melody taking shape. Shyte.

I feel so jealous of Australians right now. Bloody heck they get to see all those players.

FEDS, NADAL, GET YOUR GAME FACES ON.
Because the Austrialian Open is onnnnnnnnnn, yeah.

Double Wrap

DOUBLE WRAP.

Dragged Joe out of his bed and into pyramind at 10am on a Sunday.

A perfectly good reason?
I've got one.

:D

Well, why not? :P
This time we watched the 3D version...holy cow their effects were fantastic. And i thought 2D was already awesome.

But seriously, i need some contacts. I dont know how long i can keep up adjusting those 3D glasses over my specs.

Sam. Worthington. O.O
Where's that fangirl emoticon of mine???????

Well, in case you have it then take a look and you know how i was like the entire movie. hahahah. XD

Seriously, i would watch it a third time regardless of anything before it closes in cinema D: D: My mum would probably freak if i said i wanted to go watch it again but after all, i did watch Transformers 2 a triple tad more than most ppl. :P
I'm still doubting bringing my bro cos he fell asleep during the show. Apparently he disrupted my theory that nobody could ever fall asleep with a show like Avatar playing on a huge screen with blaring sounds, although he claimed he only slept for the last 5 minutes.

Uh-huh.
It aint my problem he slept at 3am last night when i did tell him we needed to get up early.
Hey, i wouldnt have picked such an early movie if it hadnt been 3 hours right?

Oh and one last thing.
As we were walking outside waiting for my dad to pick us up, i glimpsed someone that resembled Jeremy walking toward us but he disappeared behind the pillar.

First reaction : Haiyo cant be him. Continue walking oni la.

Then i saw Haris.
Second reaction : O_O
.
.
RUN!
.
.
BUAT TAK TAU?
.
LoL. Too late. Alvin spotted me. XD

Finally saw Haris in person after all these years. His expression was priceless when he saw Joel hahahah. XD Oh, and they might both take note that my bro is almost taller than them. :P Hahah, grow, form fivers, grow! XD

I'm starving now. Cant imagine why since i had dinner. Oh well.
Taa, gone to find food. Lets see if i can catch Avatar again next week. XD

one word : AVATAR. :):)

Family Dinner

TIES THAT BOND.

I love family reunions in Klang. :)
You cant help but bask in all the chaotic craziness surrounding you till it eats you up. Like, er, this.

Just a few mad moments. :P
Oh ignore my uncle with his tongue sticking out like an 8-year-old. I took that in a split second HAHAH.

P.S. I DROPPED MY PURPLE CUPCAKE WHILE LICKING IT.
T________________________________T

Too bad it stained my baju instead of my tongue. :(
