OHMYGRAVYY

OHMYFREAKINGGRAVY

i dont know how else to describe myself while i was watching that video(ESPECIALLY at the end).

End point : Running around with my mouth gaped open stunned to the point of soundless like a chicken without its head.

Yes, you're welcome Stephanie. The least i could do to cheer you up with all the worrying tsunami warnings all over Hawaii. MAKE SURE YOU'RE IN THE SAFE ZONE, YA?

God keep u and everyone else safe. :)

Up In the Air

UP IN THE AIR

I haven't blogged properly for ages. All i did was print short wishes haha. Yeahh was too lazy, too lazy to even blog abt my CNY. And yes i will blog abt CNY, the least i will do is post them on Facebook. But not till i retrieve those pics from Jo..why is it her cammie has all the best pics?? D:

No matter. Since CNY has gone stale anyway it would be more exciting to blog abt yesterday's crazy "skytrekking". Though most of you have probably seen it all on FB already.. oh well who cares. :D

I didn't bring my camera, a HUUUUGE regret. I had to rely on the pics posted by my cousin on--- where else, Facebook.

At the entrance.

If you're wondering why the group is so big, its because my cousins brought their cousins as well. With one boy named Joel Ong. XD So they resorted to calling my bro "Junior" since Ong was the older one. LOL.

The first thing that greeted us was the sight of this weird tree! :D

You know, i thought it wasnt real at first.

We were suppose to wait for the bus to come and pick us up and send us to the skytrek area somewhere deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep in the park but we waited for ages and no bus came so..

.. my uncle-cum-tuition-teacher decided to brave the route himself with nothing but his legs.

How heroic.
Nobody dared to follow him except my aunt. Hahah.

A few minutes later...

.. wooohooo!

Lol, rugi saja walk so far.

Cos we picked them up on the way anyway. :P

Once we got there Ruth's eyes went all a glimmer cos she spotted what looked like a hot-looking foreigner coming towards us and since my back was to him all she could do was whisper "i hope that's our instructor, i hope thats our instructor... on your right esther!!"

" Hi, who's Ruth Ong? "
HAHAHAHAHAHA, oh man the look on her face when he said that. XD

Turns out he's the boss of the whole skytrek thing and he has gorgeous looks and he has an awesome accent(repeat : AWESOME) and he's so very French. :D
Unfortunately, he lit a cigarette and it turned me off because i simply cant stand people who smoke.

The "Gear Up" Deck where he gave us our harnesses and pronounced my and joel's surname "Nong".

XD Since when was "NG" a Nong?

The Big Thrill stage. Or, the second-toughest stage. Or, our skytrek course for the day.

Or not.

So you thought that ladder was freakishly high? Well it just about got even higher.

French Boss told us that the Big Thrill course was damaged during a recent thunderstorm, so there was only the Extreme Challenge remaining, unless anyone wanted the Little Adventure (which includes what they call a Bunny Hop and Rabbit Bridge mainly for kids and the easiest stage obviously XD) which i highly doubted anyone except my mum would want to try it.

Thumbs up at the launch pad.

Out of the 13 of us, 10 of us trekked. My uncle and aunt plus the sister in law stayed on the ground.
But before we could start..

We underwent "training".

Where one instructor taught us all the safety rules and walked us through the processes of hooking and unhooking this and that and how to do the flying-fox etc etc.

Well, here goes nothing.

Up you go first, Ivan!

I was proudly the second person after my cousin.

Looks easy, the first obstacle?
THAT FIRST LADDER WAS ONE TOUGH SLOG JUST REACHING THE TOP.
(Regretfully, i have no pic to show it T__T)

We spent like three hours among the highest treetops somewhere deep in the forest area. I shall now break down everything that happened in there :
- after flying-foxing to two platforms, i climbed yet another ladder going even higher up into the canopy. Awesome.
- Fingers got so numb climbing i couldnt feel them.
-Reached the top, met Ivan! XD
-Watched as his cousin got stuck on the flying-fox. LOL.
-Caught up with first group and had to wait for some dumb fear-stricken girl for ages.
-Got annoyed with her cries for help and her boyfriend's consoles, almost threw a bottle at her. Except i didnt have a bottle, so she got lucky.
-Waited for her again at the other obstacle(she's that slow) while listening to her shrieks and whines which escalated ten times. UGHH. Highly tempted to shake the cables and make her cry, woohoo.
-My cousin got burnt out.
-Overtook Ivan! Haha, beat that, all you muscle men!
-Did more crazy stunts. Laughed at Ruth's face when she saw me doing some crazy one-rope challenge. XD
-Ruth mistakenly calls the flying-fox "firefox".
-Left everyone else behind(I'm that fast, cheyy) and caught up with the same girl and her boyfriend. Boyfriend gives me that look.
-I give him the look back.
-Did more mad stunts, listened to the girl's lembik little cry again. O.M.G.
-Finished first! HOLAAA XD

First and Second. *Bangga*.

And then the usual business of waiting for the rest. Who took another half an hour while i downed two hundred plus-es in two minutes.

Did i mention any injuries?

Ivan's gash which he got from i have no idea how.

My so called " blister " . XD

Hah. It disappeared the next day.

Aftermath.

Gah. Bad camwhoring.

I mustmustmust bring Steph there. Steph u mustmustmust go. Its awesoommmee! :D
I must must must go again..

... must must must.

Cause i'm born for extreme sports. Woot.

Over and Out

OVER AND OUT.

44/50.

*Proud* :D
Finally, i can throw that stupid blue undang book out of the window. I told myself over and over again that i'd better pass because then all the waking up early and depriving myself of sleep for yet another day and all those time wasted reading that book would be worth my while. Thank God i did better than i hoped, seeing the fact i'd counted 10 questions i'd most probably get wrong. XD

My apologies over my anger-fueled post yesterday. But i was so heated up i could have been on fire and that still wouldnt have been hot enough. I mean, over such a tiny matter they made me a laughing stock in front of everybody, NOT TO MENTION I WAS THE ONLY GIRL BLOCKED FOR WEARING SHORTS.

To hell with them, my shorts werent that short in the first place! If their idea of "decency" is that far ahead, they might as well MOVE THE BLOODY SCHOOL TO AFGHANISTAN OR PAKISTAN OR IRAN OR SOMETHING WHERE ALL THE GIRLS WRAP THEMSELVES UP LIKE MUMMIES FROM EGYPT.

TO HELL WITH SMKSU.
Thank goodness this is my last year, i''m sick of this sch with its teachers and ridiculous rules.
And the worse thing is, THEY LET OTHER GIRLS WITH WAAAY SHORTER SHORTS THAN ME GO UP. What are they practising now, discrimination? !!

Okay, will calm down now. Its like a thorn sticking in my otherwise really fruitful weekend. I was so mad i also forgot to say i got third placing. Yeaa, i was bloody pleased till they went and ruined the end of it. I wish it wasnt so bittersweet, but i try instead to taste the sweetness because i know it can wash away the bitter taste of tht incident.

Gosh i've become a ranter now. If i were speaking i'd say a whole lot more than just rants abt the sch. Like i said, they can just go to hell.

At least, Sunday ended really well and i can look forward to something else instead of being stalled. And overall, the weekend's results made me feel a whole lot better than what i did before.

Humiliation

SET ASIDE.

I came feeling unsure,
I started pretty cool,
I finished full of cheer,
But went home filled with blues.

Thats fucking merentas desa 2010 for you.

All wrapped up in a poem describing my public humiliation.

When you have such crappy teachers and fucking dumb so-called ridiculous "school-rules", you cant help feeling maddened that all your hard work's been overly underestimated.

That fucking school and those fucking teachers can consider that a fucking warning.
