Hey hey. Sorry tak sempat update till today. Last few days nvr had the chance to touch the comp; though last week i uploaded abt half of the pics. Hopefully i dont amaze u with the amount of pics i uploaded but then.. i amazed myself. Ah cut the crap.Warning : Prepare yourself for a long long long long story beginning from now. Here's where i left off the night before:
Remember i told u abt the overpacking? Er, well, Steff decided to stuff more into it. See our poor bag. Mum was pulling her hair out. XD
The finished product. Somehow or other steff managed to get the lid closed and zipped.
The next morning, after ALOT of hassling at home thanks to mum, we left for the airport in a journey that was so freaking long. i resorted to playing a snake game on my mums hp in the cab.
When we got there:
Checking in...
After check in...(waited for something i forgot what)Then had the dumb screening of carry-on baggage. usually i always get in trouble at this part... but not this time. :D
Joe had some problem with the electrical toothbrush he brought in his bag though... the guy blur betul.
We waited for so damn long for the bloody plane. Oleh itu, i had my first taste of chocolate in weeks! :D
Mmm. i missed this choc. it kept me occupied for awhile anyway.
While waiting stil...
Typical kiasu-ness at the airport. The plane wasnt in for like an hour and they were already queuing up.
When the time came evryone rushed to the line. Screw you AirAsia... u promote low prices but u definitely dont promote any budi bahasa whatsoever. ..

Damn cute rite. Instead of plastic bottles they used ceramic ones to store all the bathroom liquids. :D Mum loved it so much lol.
When we arrived it was evening and pretty late... so we hung abt the the room since we couldnt go swimming like we usually do.
Dark, gloomy, boring.... i so wanted the beach. Screw my luck anyhow. Nice room though. XD
And then this happened:
Yeah i had two siblings and both fell asleep instead of accompanying me. =.= So, out of boredom...

FOOD! Mum brought alot of junk to snack on. Within a day the pringles vanished. Well, joe ate the most anyway.
I couldnt sleep although i lacked enough rest the night before. Mum napped too so it was just me and dad. He was starting to be hungry and we were all tired so..
room service, hehehehe. That was us kids' dinner. Yum yum YUM. :P

DAY I
The views of the resort is just gorgeous. The best thing was that it was nothing but greenery..

But then, HERE COMES THE RAIN. Bloody rain, go away!
*Sobs. We had to cut our swimming short. Tak sempat go beach oso. Nice pool though.
Neverthless we still played in the rain for abit but the water was freakin cold and freezing. ish.
So we had to get up anyway cos we didnt want to catch a cold. Nothing to do so:

Lunchtime! This pizza was so so so good. But i could only manage half so..
Er, their version of "tapau". No matter, it made it easy to carry and i ate the leftover half for dinner in the room. Still tasted good.
It was a whole wasted day cos we couldnt do anything but sit and stone thanks to the rain. It rained on and on till dark.

Obviously it didnt. We ordered room service again cos we were too lazy to go out. But since i had my leftover pizza i didnt need anything.
Nothing but dessert! I missed icecream :)
DAY II
We only had this one last full day so we were praying ans praying for the rain to ciou. And guess what? It was SUNNY! Nothing but SUNSHINE SUNSHINE SUNSHINE! :D:D We made the most of the perfect weather.Went swimming first.

Water was still chillingly cold, so..
Beach time! More like sea, actually. At least it was warm. :)
My sandman. Lol. Failure. i didnt hv enough time to make a proper one. Mum hated it zz. =.=
Off to kayaking! :D :D
We kayaked like mad and so far. Hey, the canoe is named "delta"! XD Lol the irony.
Dad and Joe had some trouble with their kayaking.. joe didnt kayak properly XD
Lol, my very first time kayaking. It was so much fun, and alot of hard work too! When we had to kayak back to the beach it suddenly became much tougher and then we realised we were now going against the current. I begin to regret being so enthusiastic abt kayaking so far out.
The sun became super hot after that so we balik to the pool. It was already noon so we had lunch at the beach bar... i had the same sandwich lol XD. Was addicted to it. We paddled about till 2pm and then joel got sunburned a little so we had to get up.
In the evening mum wanted to take us to the datai at the other end of the beach and it was awesome weather so it was a pleasant walk. Joe complained it was too far(anything to do with walking is far for him) . Took like damn alot of pics like this one on a titi. They actually built a titi.
And as we walked further we caught the sunset! It was unbelievably breathtaking and gorgeous. I stood and stone there for so long admiring it.

There was also this big wooden swing in a cove by the walking trail. It was balanced on a BRANCH! 0.0
It could support both of us so you can imgine how strong the branch was. Not to mention the swing was made of some freaking heavy wood itself..
To get to Datai , we had to follow a trail going through the edge of the rainforest. in the soft evening sky you can get unbelievable sights like this:
You just have to look UP.
The Datai itself was in the rainforest too. The scenery is equally beautiful.

Steff and mum wanted to go to the gift shop and see stuff. On the way there...
MONKEY! It was jumping and climbing from balcony to balcony trying to find an unlatched door. Unfortunately for him, his search was fruitless. naughty, naughty monkey. in case you're wondering where it is, its riiiggghhtt there in the middle.
Steff and mum spent ages at the shop looking at things. The staff later fetched us back from the Datai cos it was too dark to walk. It was around 8 something so we went exploring the facilities. Joe and i went on a quest of searching for the Games and Billiards Room because we remembered the internet there. XD
FOUND IT!
The comp at the resort. Connection was actually quite good.. only before that we had to enter a password into the acc. We thought we couldnt use it after all till i tembak a word and WALAH! "Welcome to Windows". LOL XD. So the password was actually that easy after all.
Mum and Steff came in later to join us. i used the comp for awhile but found it particularly uninteresting since it had no msn or windows messenger. i surfed for abit and then joe took over. There was a snooker table there so..
Mum taught us how to play snooker. Hahah. Very funny.It was our last night here so we walked around abit more before we went back to our rooms.
The resort has really nice contoured designs and features.
After that we ordered room service for the third time XD. Lol the ppl must be thinking this room is freaking lazy . This time i had spaghetti it was so D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S. The food here is SO GOOD. Even everyone said the food was awesome. Unfortunately i forgot to take a pic of it. Was too busy wolfing it down hahah. XD
CHOCOLATES!:D We bought this earlier when we arrived. Couldnt get enough of it.

DAY III
We managed to go for one last pool dip and soak in the sea for awhile before we left. No more rain after that day. Zzzz.
I didnt want to leave. Neither of us wanted to. :(At the airport...

Whatever chocolate you want, you name it,they have it! At a very good price too...not to mention they have lolipops as well.
This particular lollipop is ridiculous. It was bigger than my outstretched hand. Who on earth would or even could eat a lollipop that size?
We bid adieu to Langkawi in an hour as we boarded the plane back home. T.T

And so that is the end of my most interesting trip to Langkawi. I'm already missing Langkawi boooo. i really wanna go back there but i'll have to wait till nxt year hmph. i miss miss miss Langkawi sobs.
No matter. i'll be waiting.
