Perhentian
Obtained that picture from Jolene via email. :D
That was on the first day itself, just after we arrived at Bubbles Dive Resort to begin some conservation efforts, and got right down to work prepping for our Ecoteer School Club activities in the next two days. We were all doing the "turtle" sign, there was also the "shark", and maybe another one I can't seem to remember XD.
It was a fabulously amazing trip; a great eye-opener. Certainly something really valuable to my experiences in the future. Here's to another story to tell my kids! :D
I can't stay on long to blog; I have too much work to get done this week. I feel like dying, but I really wanted to just get this posted up because that trip was worth it. I came back realizing I needed to brush up on my Malay speaking skills.
Oh, and the reason why I was holding that turtle puppet was because I was the "director" of the puppet show, or at least, I was on that team. Since I created the script, wrote it out, got the ball rolling, Daniel was all, "Alright, you're the director!" and put me in charge of the turtle puppet I aptly named Cik Penyu. The play was in Bahasa, okay? I didn't really have much choices in naming them Malay names....
Aites, gotta go nows for some epic scrounging of presentations and assignments.
WISH ME LUCK. :D
Thank you God for a lovely trip. For keeping me safe, for bringing me home safe, for keeping me healthy and well throughout. Thank you for blessing me. Amen.
