Little Beauties

My babies are growing full bloom. :')

And it seemed like only yesterday when four of them were packed tight in sleeping green buds. 

Sigh. They just grow up so quickly......

A girl, and a boy. Aptly pink and white. I know blue is traditionally for boys, but really, who cares. Mum used to dress us all in white, when we were babies. That was because she never went for ultrasounds, and only did it once for each pregnancy to check on the foetus(us rowdy four kids). And when she did she never wanted to know the sex of the baby, because she wanted it as a "surprise". She said it was more fun to behold the excitement of knowing the gender when the baby is born, instead of knowing it beforehand and then that takes away half the fun of giving birth.

Not that giving birth is an easy task, mind you. Mum says it's pretty "simple", except perhaps for the first birth. Cause it's your first time, your body has to change/adjust, it might hurt, you'd be in labor, contractions, yadda yadda yadda. *cough* Help. Women have it hard T.T

Yeah, so getting back to the REAL topic here....

Such gorgeous sweethearts. Pardon me for being all weirdo and treating my six lilies like children, but it's just cause I gush over them so much and it's so exciting to watch them slowly open their petals, all fresh and pretty, and making my room smell so beautiful.

I... absolutely... LOVE lilies. They're so much better than roses which die after a few days, and don't make your room smell nice at all. Though I love all flowers. I'm just a teeny bit biased when it comes to lilies.... 

... cause they're so darn gorgeous. :'D
