Merry Christmas

It's the early hours of everyone's favorite holiday season, and the day has already begin and ended so beautifully. Thank you, God, for everything. Most of all, for your amazing sacrifice.

And, for some reason, I've been so blessed that I'm on the brink of being treated like a spoiled child. I've received almost everything imaginable on this Earth-- God's love, His mercy, His protection. And He didn't stop there, He continued to rain happy blessings through the people who love me, and whom I love.

Everything from a card laden with lovely words, cookies from a baby brother and an African sister, a huge box of absolutely delish cupcakes, a blossom hairclip, a tiny table deco, Crabtree & Evelyn products from my aunt, jewelry, a wall candle holder, and countless gorgeous jewelry pieces and clothes(this includes a poncho and a peacock skirt-- can you believe that?).

:'D

Thank you, thank you so much for all the gifts. I don't -need- gifts, and have no desire for them, but it was a pleasant surprise to be showered with so many this year. 2012; clearly the best year ever.

Mmm... cupcakes.

Ok, so the box is kinda foggy cause Mum put them in the fridge, but I promise you it's cupcakes. Gorgeous, gorgeous(fattening and sugary) cupcakes. Thank you, baby brother. Well, the adopted white one anyway.

And when I thought it couldn't get any better....

Lilies.

A bouquet of  the sweetest-smelling, most enlightening flowers invaded my room and perfumes the air with the most intoxicating scent ever. Talk about a Christmas Eve pre-gift? :'D
Thank you, sayang. You're truly such a darling. You know just exactly what to do to make a girl feel like a princess.
Funny thing is, I was never one to be romantic. I was not that girl who dreamed of finding her Prince Charming and being treated like a spoiled princess, showered with love, kisses, hugs, presents, and above all, surprises. I was not that girl who was looking for a man, let alone believe in a Prince Charming.

And yet I got an amazingly good-looking, loving, sweet-natured, kind-hearted, talented man I have ever known. Why on earth is God so loving? Why did He bless me with a beautiful man, and along the way add two brothers and a whole lot of friends from different countries?

I am not incredibly lucky, I am incredibly blessed. That goes without saying, even if I did say it anyway. ;D

It's all very well to have received God's love and mercy and His ultimate gift of Salvation and Eternal Life in Heaven, but at the same time He's sweet enough to bless my time here on Earth, too. What a great God I have.

Merry Christmas everyone. Have a blessed, blessed day with your loved ones.

-Feliz Navidad!
