THE THINGS OTHERS DON'T SEE
You know, I've quit blogging in awhile. And literally my blog was pretty much dead, except when I felt like writing something random or was feeling frustrated about something and had to vent my feelings out. Basically, I treated this like an online diary--- except I knew strangers come across it sometimes, but who cares? They don't know me and don't take me seriously! Honestly, I was absolutely sure nobody I knew comes into here any longer. Seems I was wrong. WRONG. I've been wrong about a lot of things lately, and they're not said to be bad or whatever, sometimes it does make you wish you hadn't gotten too personal.
You. Know. What. I. Mean.
But anywaaaaaays, I felt like blogging something really long tonight thanks to the coma-nap I had just now and is now feeling hyper. I felt like posting pictures, but not one or two of those tumblr-kind of photos which I have been posting for the last 10 entries of so( I was lazy, okay? And bored, and emo, and un-motivated!). So I was looking through my album and realized there were a whole lot of random photos I took but never bothered about them after uploading them onto my computer XD. Well, it didn't make sense to post just one photo on Facebook, right? And I hate those albums named 'Randoms' which many people have and post all those ...random stuff. It's just... I like to be different. Bah. And I'm quite OCD in some ways about my Facebook stuff.
(Cutting that subject out)Yes, so now, I present to you, my awesome I REMEMBER WHENs. Also, there's a story behind all of it, I like to rant after all. Hah, take that, Facebook albums!
I Remember When....
I had the time of my life at my very first church camp in Malacca.
I lost two Uno games and Jenga in a row, so this became my reward. Matthew did NOT help by poking me in the back and roaring in my ear while I was shuffling back in the thick darkness and feeling like I was going to freak out any moment. Which I did, obviously.
I discovered the meaning of pool violence.
I discovered that on-the-go shots are the most epic ones you'll ever get. (Go Esther Marie! :DD )
I discovered that there were queer people out there who could shiver and feel cold in a pool of WARM water placed strategically in the SUNSHINE and HOT weather.
I Remember When...
I nearly smoked out my apartment.
... yes I know. Don't laugh.
I was attempting warm up an apple crumble bar and couldn't figure out how to set the microwave. So I just blasted some buttons and left it. Before I knew it....
I was incredibly sad. I wasted a whole bar. And to top it off, my apartment smelled of smoke for two days.
I Remember When...
I bought a bouquet of flowers for the first time by myself. :)
Aren't they gorgeous? :D
They were for Mother's Day, and I wanted to give my mom lilies because they're her favorite(they smell incredibly nice) and also because I realized none of us have ever bought her flowers before. I had to do a lot of running back and forth and strategic planning in order to pick the bouquet up and smuggle it into my room. Even then it wasn't safe; I had to run upstairs the moment I thought my mom might enter my room, and I couldn't hide it in the bathroom because she goes in there too.
I surprised her the next morning with the flowers in the kitchen(before going back up to sleep). I crept down before she was up and then hurried back to continue my snooze. So yeahh, all that planning was sooo worth it. ;D
I (also) Remember When...
I randomly captured a photo of my mom.
I guess I just had nothing better to do. :D
I Remember When...
We took a trip to Bukit Cahaya and saw interesting and amusing things.
Couples be warned; you are not welcome here. And neither is your PDA.
I thought this looked charming! :D
I Remember When...
I ate Japanese food for the first time.
(It was this year. Don't be shocked. Its not my fault.)
Raw tuna and wasabi. SO. GOOD.
*drools*
Some cold beans of some sort which tasted weird. I think I'll stick to the wasabi.
I Remember When..
We took a trip to Pangkor, and a monkey tried to enter our room.
He even rattled our doorknob and gaped at us at the window. How rude.
I Remember When..
I ran for my house during Sports Day last year.
I really did run with this streaked down my leg. It must've been amusing for the spectators. XD
Okay, now I Remember a time when I slept really late and failed to stay awake during church service the next day. Not good. At all.
BED. Where art thou?!
Cheers. :)
