Field Trip.

I have no title for this post haha.

Yes i was dead for a week. Sorrreeeeeeeeeeeeee, was pre-occupied with other activities. Have no regrets though, i finally realized i could make better use of the hols aside from just sitting in front of my lappie day in day out.

You'll see why in the meantime soon.

Last Wednesday(or was it Tuesday?) my dad took my bro on a field trip. Yes a FIELD TRIP hahahaha. To Langkawi. To see :

8D

I forgot to mention my dad finally got me my cammie. How else would i get that super clear pic? And its awesome. Not that i like to brag, but after having to put up with my phone cam for ages with its 2megapixel? Everything my new camera did seemed to awe me, even the minor ones. Lol.

First thing we saw after we got off the plane.

Dad tried to teach Joel to use his old cammie after he complained he wanted a camera just like me. :D

We walked all the way to the exhibition, and guess what? WE'RE NOT ALLOWED IN TILL THE LAST DAY. Omg so potong. Came all the way for nothing. Field trip gone sour.

Trying to get a peek at the helicopters and planes in the enclosure.

However, thanks to the awesomeness of my new Canon, i could grab photos from like really far away. Erm, not like there was much to grab photos of.

I immediately thought of Starscream. XD

We were super disappointed, because it wasnt at all like how they described it in the papers. Apparently they overexaggerated the whole thing. There wasnt even any warships and we were sealed off everywhere. "Conned", my father said.

So we decided to go exploring elsewhere.

Stopped for lunch at some italian restaurant. Joe took to experimenting with dad's "antique" cam. XD

I call it antique because it looked so pro and yet it had only 4 megapixel. Had an hilarious disagreement with my dad who insisted it was still better than mine until i said mine had 12.1megapixel and then he shut up. HAHAHAHAH. Beat that!

Note the concentration. XD

There was this sort of entertainment village where there was so many things to see. To think we come to Langkawi almost every year and never knew it existed??? The taxi driver said it was a hit with tourists, especially at night. Even in the day all i spotted were blonde foreigners walking the pavements.

Unfortunately, all the foreigners were either families with kids or couples on vacation. I was like, c'mon, man. Is there no sexy hot blonde bachelor backpacker dude anywhere????
Groan. Apparently not. And it didnt seem right to ogle those with girlfriends lol.

We still had time before our flight and i wanted to walk and explore all the shops and restaurants although my bro was complaining(as usual).

Sausage(?). Burger.

....."oblong???"

Is there even such a thing that exists?? XD
Yup, we found pretty entertaining stuff just walking along the pavements.

Then, all of a sudden the Starscream-like plane started zooming and booming all above our heads. Joe whined that he wanted to get a closer look at the airport so we grabbed a taxi and..

The closest shots i could get as it landed.

Abit cacat but hey, what with a three-day old cam and a super fast plane i dont suppose its too bad. My skills were still shaky at the least.

The only other plane we saw flying.

After straining our necks and squinting at the sky we headed to the airport, and then for home. And, as it never fails to, we got distracted at, well, where else?

Except this time, it was having an international chocolate festival celebration! Wooooooohhooo.....ooooohhhhh, chocolates.

Dont worry, he wasnt really participating because we didnt purchase the minimum amount required. He threw and threw the balls and never hit jackpot.

Not as easy as it looks.

The only pic i took of myself. Still not taking a liking to camwhoring.

I prefer taking shots of others.

Or my shoes, for instance.

Took this from the plane window before takeoff. Dad said one of his dreams was learning to fly and buying a personal plane like that white one so he can take us anywhere. LOL. Dream on, daddy. XD

Ah, clouds. The perfect ending. :)

There, now you got an update that has nothing to do with tennis. I actually have plenty more, but since this is so long i might as well tell abt my outing with Ling and watching New Moon( yes,its amazing esther watched new moon! Scream, everyone.) besides other nonsense.

But most of all, i wanna blog abt Christmas! ;D

*Tis the season to be jolly.... oh i'm pretty joyful right now. 8D

one word : HOLS.
